Courage-Steve-Farrell

I can tell you when I left IBM to start my businesses, I was like, “What are you doing?”. You know, you’ve got the golden ticket here in this company that you work for. And then, if you think that one was bad, when I left Silicon Valley and sold everything and left everything and moved to Boulder, people really thought I’d lost my mind. I lost most of the friends that I had, because this whole notion of non-separation and oneness seemed very out there for people in the early 2000s.

It does require real discipline that the still small voice, though clear, was very clear for me. I was not missing what I was supposed to do. It’s just that there are these distractions that are these other well-meaning people that are suggesting other things. You can just follow the pack, and I knew I wasn’t supposed to follow the pack.
