Have you ever seen an angel – in the flesh – with wings? It was a shock at first, not scary, but quite alarming and certainly the most dramatic spiritual event in my life.

Whilst in a self development workshop led by life coach, Robert Kirby (2), in Sydney, Australia our group split off in pairs and I went with a lady to do an exercise in a small room. Unexpectedly, my entire reality was about to change – dramatically!
After ten minutes my crown chakra expanded and energy spread flowing to my extremities. Trying to stay present but mightily distracted by this increasing energy… I thought “Wow, maybe I can SEE this energy flow from my fingers?” I couldn’t see it but looking to my hand… thinking to myself “WINGS! What? Really?… wings?” I was alarmed at what I saw… white angel wings behind my chair!
I refocused to our exercise but was perplexed to NOT see the lady! The room had changed – now with a spherical aspect. The MOST surprising thing was my actual vision had changed! Looking forward I saw a tall white-winged angel – even though I knew he was behind me. I later learnt this is a common thing… like 360 degree vision… who would have thunk!
He was pale skinned, very masculine with pronounced muscles wearing a white robe. His VERY intense eyes were captivating… like he was saying… (bold)”Shhhh… we’re doing WORK here!”
It took a moment to compose myself as I went though a rapid mix of emotions, thoughts, and exclamations! My energy flow continued to grow to the point where I even got teary, not emotionally, but from the pressure pushing away all thoughts. I didn’t even ask any questions and don’t remember any “messages” as such. Communication began later as the whole adventure unfolded.

Let me pause to reflect that in my teens and later I experienced clear telepathy/clairaudience. I’m now mid 60s and this event happened several years ago. Over the course of my life I’ve had various spiritual interactions and unexplained happenings; like once meditating in a satsang group I burst into tears as it felt like I’d been touched by God, or an angel. I saw an image of a heavenly finger gently touching my head and remember simply melting from overwhelming love… like being instantly cleansed in a spiritual sense. I now look back on other occurences with curiousity and how they led up to this most profound interaction.
Back in my bubble, I went through stages and I admit there’s much I may have forgotten… it was so unusual. I do remember being lifted, or becoming light and being held up above the chair. All the while I just accepted the experience and didn’t freak out… (italics) B R E A T H E !(end italics)
Finally, the otherworldly effect dissipated to see the lady in front of me again. As soon as I saw her I realized I was back in THIS realm. Then I almost screamed at her… (bold)”WHAT DID YOU SEE?”(end bold) Naturally, she was surprised and taken aback! “Why… nothing… what do you mean!” I couldn’t believe she saw nothing!
Quickly, I told her what happened. She was unmoved, looking at me as if I’d lost my mind. Much to my amazement I realized this was an instant transportation to another dimension – out of time and space – returning the very next second. In my view, it lasted 10-15 minutes as I can review the energy building in stages, and relaxing again. This repeated… I just hung on… (bold italics) what a ride! (end bold italics)

In brief… guidance and inspiration started about a month after this “angelic entanglement”. Sometimes I feel “a presence” and one time I clearly heard the words “Beyond Being Human” and thought… what’s THAT about?
There’s a project now with many different components with a documentary as the end goal… along the way we conduct interviews, discussion panels, courses and more. Inspiration continues to fulfil a spiritual mission. An early tagline is “exploring our multidimensional nature”.
However, a stronger directive is being expressed in the projects key topics… to “ignite and sustain our divine spark”. The documentary is finally coming into focus and we’re raising funds now via our various offerings and philanthropic outreach. A tagline for the documentary arose recently… “Extraordinary people in amazing locations reveal astonishing truths of what it means to be Beyond Being Human.”

With four decades experience in both creative and project management roles, he offers documentary consultancy to select clients.
