When I found my purpose, it actually found me. And a big reason I was able to realize that it was aligned to my bliss and joy and something I wanted to dedicate my life to, was because I’d spent time deprogramming all the subconscious beliefs that would’ve told me what I was pursing was absurd.
We’ve grown up in a society where “Artists are starving, You have to be a rocket scientist or have 5 PHD’s to change the world in relevant ways or be someone who matters, etc etc.” By disowning these ideals and others similar to them, I’ve been able to detach myself from the common narrative and pave my own path.
